Sunday Goosfaba 11/30/08

Dolphins just won.  Sweet!

So today we closed out November in an almost somber way.  Today is Paul’s last day with LPC, and we will sure miss him.  He spoke today, following our Jonah message series, about how we need to obey God when He speaks to us.  Interesting message, and well executed in Paul’s signature style.  They say that you never know what you have ’til it’s gone.  Well, today I agree.  I’m not the best at goodbyes, and as I gave Paul my final farewell, I felt as though it could’ve been so much more.  So Paul, if you ever read this, it’s been great knowing you this past year and a half, and I wish we could’ve gotten to know eachother a little better.  I wish you all the best as you embark on your new mission in Tennessee, and all the best to your wife and children as well.  We’ll miss you.  But they say that miracles tend to happen this time of year, and wouldn’t ya know it, Paul pledged to blog!  You can check it out here.

In other news, we got a semi-surprise visit from Rebecca and her friend, who were down visiting for Thanksgiving.  Great seeing her again.

Tornado watches until 8 tonight.  Y’all be safe now
