Tuesday Song of the Week
Hi all! This week’s song comes courtesy of As I Lay Dying:
“Within Destruction” by As I Lay Dying
If music is
A mirror revealing
The depths of my heart
Then I will write
The darkest song
For without
Forgiveness
My soul is lost
All that is hope
Within destruction
Comes from you
For I have fallen
Fallen
If music is
A mirror revealing
The depths of my heart
Then I will write
The darkest song
For without
Forgiveness
My soul is lost
All that is hope
Within destruction
Comes from you
For I have fallen
And there is nothing good
Within me yet I’ve
Been given life
I will
I will never
Deserve
For without
Forgiveness
Without forgiveness my soul is lost
All that is hope
Within destruction
All that is hope

Are you going to Sonfest this weekend ?
Not that I know of, no. Besides, I have a very close friend’s birthday party to attend.
The only band that I would look forward to seeing up there at Son Fest is Stellar Kart.
Oh yeah – and this cool new band that you may or may not have heard of called The Saturn Project.
I really don’t like Stellar Kart at all. =/
That is because you prefer the hard rock while I prefer the punk pop. I was once a punk myself. So yeahzzzzz.
Actually, I prefer alternative nowadays…I still love the heavy stuff, but bands like Anberlin, The Classic Crime, Jeremy Larson, and yes, even TSP have taken over.
I like Anberlin and The Classic Crime. When I first heard Anberlin on the radio (in 2006 at the start of my journey) I thought that they were led by a female lead singer.
Haha. Some of these guys’ voices can get pretty…female-ish, but it’s still good music. “Cities” is a great album, and I like pretty much everything by TCC.
