Saturday On Monday!

I just feel like telling you guys about my Saturday.  it was spent in West palm Beach at the Cruzan Amphitheater.  Kelly-Kel, Andres, Elimar, and I all went over there to catch WayFest.  There were some pretty good bands there.  Stellar Kart, Superchic[k], B. Reith, Family Force 5, Relient K, and TobyMac were all there.  It was an awesome show, but FF5 and Relient K put on the best shows.  Superchic[k] was also surprisingly good.  I got to talk to Chap Stique, the lead guitarist of FF5, and he was (as always) very cool and down to earth.  We talked about football and psychology and stuff.  He actually likes the Miami Dolphins!  I got autographs from the guys of FF5 and from Matt of Relient K (lead singer Matt).  It was a really good experience, and I’m glad I got to go (and the company was good too ;P).

Speaking of Call FM, all this week is their Winter Fund Drive.  For more info, you can go to their website here.  I already made my pledge, but we need many more people to do so.  During this week they are trying to get as many listeners as possible to pledge some money to keep the station going for the next 6months.  With WMCU long gone, Call FM is our only Christian radio station in Miami.  Well, not JUST in Miami anymore.  they’ve expanded throughout Florida, and they really need every bit of help they can get to share Jesus with people all over South Florida.

  1. So yeah I totally missed out on an excellent concert. I would have gone to see Stellar Kart – or Relient K – or Toby Mac even if any one of them was the single act performing LIVE in concert. I guess I’ll just ‘WAYt’ until next year.

I have already pledged my support for CALL-FM. If it were not for them I would not be here today, and you would have never heard of me. Yay The Call !

  2. Yay The Call indeed! kelly was using your story as an example this morning. She never called you by name, but my mom and I knew it was your story.
