Belated Sunday Goosfaba
No Anne, I did not boycott the blog. =] Actually, I couldn’t blog yesterday because almost immediately after church I went to go help our very own Casey Watkins with his moving adventure. Guys, his new place is ROCKIN’! His living room is big enough to hold a concert in! And he has a jacuzzi! I was like “HOLY WOW!! O_O”
But chyeah, on to my Goosfaba. Yesterday (June 1st) was the start of our new message series titled “Got Funk?” This had to have been one of my all-time favorite services simply because Travis is the most ballsy (yeah, I said. Big whoop. ;D) pastor I’ve ever seen. I will never forget lines like “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…Unless it itches. Then it comes home with you.” And I really enjoyed the “text any questions about the service” part (“What’s a frontal lobotomy?”). All in all, it was a great fun-filled service. And that little blues-y song the band did while the people were greeting eachother came out awesome. Especially that drum intro (and I’m not playing favorites just ’cause Alex is my buddy).
Next time I blog will be in response to the next service. Then I’ll blog about the last day of school and graduation accordingly.
