Say what you will, but I had fun doing it.

So yeah, some guy called me up about my phone service. We spoke in Spanish, but I’ll translate for you:

Telemarketer: Good day sir, do you speak Spanish?
Me: Yes
TM: Very good, and what is your name sir?
Me: …Ricardo.
TM: Very nice. Ricardo, I’m calling to tell you about a plan I have that…(I zoned out at this part) and–
Me: Yes, yes, that’s all very nice, but, do you like fishing?
TM: …Do I like fishing?
Me: Yes
TM: Well, yeah…
Me: Where’s your favorite place to fish?
TM: My favorite place to fish? Well, I don’t have one spot in particular that I always go to…
Me: That’s nice. Do you watch television?
TM: Television? Yes.
Me: What’s your favorite program?
TM: Well, I don’t have one program in particular…I mainly watch the music channels…
Me: The music channels? Those are way up there!
TM: Yes…
Me: I only have basic cable…=/
TM: Yeah…But about the offer…
Me: I’m not allowed to make any decisions until my husband gets home.
TM: …Ah, I see…Well, see, I’m calling because your one of our service customers–
Me: No I’m not.
TM: Yes you are. I’m with Nextel.
Me: Ah, see, I have T-Mobile (lie)
TM: Ah, perfect. Listen, can I make you an offer that you don’t even have to ask your husband for?
Me: Look, I’m very happy with T-Mobile. I can call all of my lovers for free.
TM: Your…Your lovers?
Me: yes.
TM: Ay, Ricardo, why do you have lovers? What about your husband?
Me: He doesn’t know.
TM: Then why do you have lovers if you have a husband?
Me: Because he bores me!
TM: He bores you?
Me: Yes!
TM: Ay Ricardo, but why lovers?
Me: No! Look, I…(faked crying) it’s my personal life, okay?! I didn’t ask you about yours!
TM: Okay, I’m sorry…But why lovers?

At that point I couldn’t hold my laughter anymore and hung up. God I love having fun. xD
